baby train socks!

so last week i went to new york to visit friends (and my parents) and took the train. i think i've taken the train up and down three times in the past 9 years, so it was "exciting." on the way up, i finished one of the blue baby socks and began a yellow one, which i finished while waiting for my lunch companion on friday. i started and finished the second one in about an hour and a half on the way back down to dc. across from me was a new new new baby, just a month old! i asked her mom if she'd like some new socks. she was surprised and happy, so we put them on her little feet. here she is...keep in mind that she has another pair under the yellow ones! i think her name is zoya, but i can't remember.

also keep in mind that i don't know who the mom is, aside from knowing that she is in the military and was pregnant with three of her friends at the same time.
